Fresh country air has a way of drawing people outdoors. If you’re looking for an active lifestyle, you’ll find Whitby has everything you need and more. Parks and public open spaces, local sports clubs that will welcome you with open arms, ovals and walk trails that meander through the surrounding nature reserves, including Serpentine National Park and Mundlinup State Forest. The great outdoors is calling. Come join us.
Along with existing early learning facilities and a choice of primary and secondary schools less than five minutes away, the Whitby masterplan includes a number of future education facilities to support a growing community, including two primary schools and a high school within the Whitby development. Two schools currently operate within 5 minutes of Whitby: Court Grammar School and Mundijong Primary.
Like everything at Whitby, the masterplan has been meticulously planned. It includes a district shopping centre with two discount department stores, a supermarket and up to 75 specialty retail stores servicing Whitby and other future residential estates within the Mundijong – Whitby district.
The district centre, which will include a town square and marketplace, will be the heart of the community, helping it to expand by providing employment opportunities and essential services. Planned public transport will service Whitby with four bus routes and a dedicated bus station.
